Everyone today is on a journey- a journey to find their own identity.
Everyone today is on a journey- a journey to find their own identity.
Whether it's a professional expecting a
professional growth in terms of salary and position, a homemaker managing a
household with care expecting love, care and support from others, an entrepreneur
building something from scratch aiming to build an empire, or even a school-going
student trying to fit in by struggling hard to reach the top, each one of us is
silently asking, “Who am I really?”
Now a days, it feels like a rat race, where we are
constantly running, comparing, competing, and trying to prove ourselves. But in
this rush, many of us are losing our own voices. We forget what truly makes us “us”.
We live in a time where even a small help or favour
often comes with an expectation as “Praise
me, thank me, and show it to the world.” True kindness is becoming rare, and self-worth is often measured by
likes, titles, or applause.
Some are trying to become like others just to be
accepted. Some feel lost because they are different. And some are silently
battling an identity crisis, asking: “Am I enough?”
Ideally, You don’t need to be like anyone
else.
One’s identity is already within oneself – in One’s
values, actions and heart.
You are a whole person, unique and irreplaceable.
So let’s stop comparing and start accepting
ourselves. Let’s find joy not to compare with others, but in being real, “the real oneself”.
